General Upholstering Tips

Go Slow. Be sure of everything you are doing and you will save time and money.

Make a plan. You can revise your plan as often as you need and it won't cost a thing.

Take pictures. With a digital camera you can take pictures of your progress and then if you get stuck you can go back and look at what you have done.

Get the right tools. Upholstering uses several specialized tools. If you're trying to make do, then you probably won't get the results you want.

Keep it simple. If you have never worked with tufted leather, then you'll probably spend a fortune trying to fix your mistakes. Be realistic about your skills and your goals.
